Signatope

I co-founded Signatope in 2016 to bring a novel proteomics technology from academic research into pharmaceutical drug development. Signatope develops mass-spectrometry-based immunoassays for precise protein quantification, with applications in drug safety, toxicology, and drug metabolism.

My work has spanned bioinformatics, technology development, and company building. I developed computational methods for identifying and selecting peptide epitopes, worked on mass-spectrometry data analysis and statistics, and helped translate the underlying research into a commercial technology.

As co-founder I have also been responsible for finance, administration, and IT – building the structures needed to grow Signatope from a research project into an established biotech company.

Denkbox

I founded DenkBox in 2025 to make modern AI useful for businesses without requiring them to send sensitive data to the cloud. DenkBox combines dedicated AI hardware with software that runs language models, company knowledge, and automations directly within an organization’s own network.

The idea grew out of a simple problem: AI is increasingly useful in everyday work, but many organizations cannot, or should not, send confidential data to external providers. DenkBox brings the models to the data instead, giving organizations control over their information, infrastructure, and access to AI.

As founder and managing director, I initiated DenkBox and lead its development from both the technical and business sides. My work ranges from product architecture, hardware and AI infrastructure to company strategy, operations, and building the team. The goal is straightforward: turn powerful AI into a practical tool that organizations can actually own and control.
